Journyx offers a number of training packages designed to meet our customers' wide variety of training needs. Choose from our Standard Training Classes below to learn more.

Classes Offered
- Admin Common Tasks
Students will learn the basics of administering Timesheet, from creating & managing users and groups to working with accruals, project dependencies, and approvals.
- Admin Configuration Tasks
This class covers key concepts in Timesheet configuration, including: definition of time periods; currency & mileage conversions; entry screen customization; and advanced system settings such as approval plan development and branding approaches.
- Reporting
Students will be given an overview of the various report types available within Timesheet. Additionally, the mechanics of Timesheet reporting will be examined, including the different display and output options available. A high-level review of Total Cost Reports will conclude this class.
- New Features: Minor Version Upgrade
Topics covered will vary, depending upon the specific new features involved. The course focuses only on the minor-version changes between the customer's current version and the latest version.
- New Features: Major Version Upgrade
Topics covered will vary, depending upon the specific new features involved. The course focuses only on the major-version changes between the customer's current version and the latest version.

- Creating And Managing Groups
This class will begin with a simple introduction to Set Theory, which is the basis of Timesheet's group approach. Custom roles, as they apply to groups, will also be discussed. An in-depth discussion of the benefits of groups, including numerous practical examples, is included.
- Creating And Managing Projects
This class focuses on the more complex aspects of managing projects within Timesheet, including: group creation & modification; project approvals and project dependencies; an examination of required and optional fields for projects; and custom project fields.
- Creating And Managing Users
This class covers user management in detail. Topics include: users & time periods; custom roles for users; assigning start & end dates to users; handing period approvals for users; and an in depth look at group structures and how they relate to users.

Purchasing Journyx Training Classes
All Journyx training classes are offered as private 3 hour courses for up to 2 individuals in your organization. Or, for a lower price, 1½ hour courses may be taken publicly by up to 4 students from different organizations.
